The Custom Balladeer is a modestly priced guitar incorporating a proven modified X-brace similar to that found in the best conventional acoustic guitars. Combined with our Lyrachord bowl and sitka spruce top is a two-piece mahogany neck surrounding the exclusive Kaman Bar. An aluminum channel bonded inside the neck holds a steel tension rod that can be adjusted to keep your Ovation guitar in top performing condition.

The aluminum Kaman Bar permits the Custom Balladeer neck to realize the maximum stiffness possible while adding vitually no additional weight to the guitar. The result is an instrument with that orignal Ovation sound - full bass, clean midrange and a crisp treble, and one that will keep that sound year after year.

This guitar is in excellent + condition and plays beautifully.   The color is sunburst against black which gives it a stunning look.  It has a few dings here in there, but overall, for a guitar that is 20 plus years old, she is a true lasting beauty.  Comes with an original tan color Ovation case with dark peach interior.  The case is a good color match for this sunburst guitar and is also in outstanding condition.  And lastly, the guitar comes with it's original owners manual and warranty card.
