Groove Tube GT55 Microphone Description: The
Groove Tubes GT55 incorporates all of the features of the high-end GT66
cardioid, with FET circuitry replacing the tube for a great, all-around
large diaphragm microphone at a modest price. This enhanced reissue of
our side-address true condenser features a hand-assembled, hand-tested
1.10-inch diameter capsule. The amazingly thin 3-micron evaporated-gold
diaphragm with Disk Resonator technology provides incredible sensitivity
that delivers a sparkling, transparent sound across the full frequency
spectrum. Groove Tubes’ rigorous quality control also insures that this
mic is within +/-1dB of the “golden” microphone spec. The GT55 includes
switches for -10dB attenuation pad and low frequency roll-off filter

a rugged hard mount, and padded zipper mic case for protection. GROOVE TUBE SM4 GT55 SHOCKMOUNT: This new
basket type GT shock mount is specially designed for the models GT55/57,
GT66/67, and MD1 series mics. It will also fit most earlier GT mics made
for the former Alesis Corp. such as the AM11, AM61/62 and AM51/52 mics
as well as earlier GT models 6TM, 5SC and 5SM with similar base design.
