The Micro-Nikkor 105mm f2.8 Lens is one of the brightest,
easiest-to-focus macro lenses that was ever manufactured. Shoot
beautiful close-up shots of the hardest-to-capture subjects, from
shy butterflies to wriggling reptiles, taken from a safe distance
without disturbing your subjects... or endangering yourself. A
beautiful portrait len, allowing the photographer to blur out the
background using the wide aperture. This lens is also ideally suited
for theatre photography.
The lens has Nikon's SIC multi-coating for superior photos, made
with virtually no distortion, sharp resolution, minimal flare and
excellent color rendition. Using the Micro-Nikkor 105mm, the
viewfinder image is bright and clear, even in dim illumination. And
of course Nikon assures high quality performance from infinity down
to the closest focusing distance with 1:2 reproduction ratio, even
at full aperture, with its Close-Range Correction (CRC) System. The
front does not rotate when focusing, making it easy to use with
Polarizing filters. The minimum focus is 16 inches (0.41m). The
filter thread is 52mm.
It is in excellent-plus condition showing little signs of use there
are just a few minor marks in the black paint here and there. The
glass is clean and fungus free, absolutely perfect except for a few
dust particles inside which do not seem to affect the optical
performance. Its focus system is very smooth and operating
perfectly. The aperture is fast and free, absolutely no oil on the
blades (minimum f32). Made in Japan. It includes front and rear lens
caps.
